14 Days Left: Printing With Keegan Meegan

Accompanying our first zine at the show will be 9 limited edition screen prints and a screen-printed card set hand-pulled by our awesome friend Keegan who makes up 1/2 of Keegan Meegan Press & Bindery. Above are pics from the time we spent in his studio as he slaved away on these delicious prints. If you need screen printing or letterpress done, he is the dude to contact. New Subtext Show Opens Friday

Our pals Subtext Gallery in San Diego, CA have a new show opening in conjunction with the start on Comic-Con on Friday July 24th from 6pm - 10 pm called "Meanwhile in the Hall of Justice...". If you're in San Diego, make sure you check it out. Also, if you're at Comic-Con we would totally love one of these little guys if you see it. (Art above by Graham Smith)

Our amazing friend Ashley Forrette just finished taking pictures of our zine. They turned out great and we can't wait to share them with everyone. Help Ryan Win!

Ryan Seaman has been a great friend of mine since design school and a huge supporter of Jolby so we had to do a post on a t-shirt contest that he is in currently. DesignbyHumans is having their annual 10k contest. I entered last year and got no where so let's help Ryan win this one. You have to sign up to vote but it's a sweet design and it's for a great guy. This Weekend: "Bridges" Opening in Portland, OR

Our great friends Keegan Meegan are going to be in this super radtastic show coming up this Saturday in Portland, OR. Here are all the details:

BRIDGES: An Art Show opening on Saturday, July 18th from 6 to 9pm

New Pattern

Finished up a giant poster that will be a gift with the first 10 zines at the show and the first 10 zines sold online. This pattern is a tiny section of the illustration on the poster but we thought it was pretty cool. Maybe will make wrapping paper out of it, who knows... Have a great weekend.

It's Official: Jolby to Reunite in Portland

It's official. Josh Kenyon and his lovely wife are moving to Portland, Oregon. This will be the first time since 2006 that both halves of Jolby will live in the same city! To celebrate the ending of our constant video chatting and actually being able to talk in person now, here's Josh's big dumb face in all of its glory.

Draplin on Read Between the Leading Podcast

If you're not familiar with Draplin Design Co. here in Portland, OR, take a sec to poke through the work (we're sure you'll recognize it). Josh in Wanderlust 333 Show: Art Now Available

Josh's contribution to the Wanderlust 333 show has just gone live on their site (as well as all of the artwork for the show) and is ready for your purchasing. They have a really cool buying system in place: Each piece of art is available for £3 at postcard sized print, £33 for a standard sized print, and £33 for a gigantic print, each being limited edition archival museum quality prints. HunterGatherer x Artkitip x Incase

HunterGatherer is a design, illustration, animation and production studio founded by Todd St. John. Gary Benzel (who runs Igloo, a designed-goods shop in San Diego, CA) often collaborates with Todd and together they truly make some amazing shit. HunterGatherer recently teamed up with Arkitip and Incase to bring us these delicious laptop and iphone casings. Check out the video that explains the concept behind this design and make sure you check out their work.

A Grabba Beast Preview

Josh and I have been working on Grabba Beast for a very long time now at TangibleWW and we're excited to announce we just uploaded a 7 minute demo of the Grabba experience.

I got a really exciting email this weekend from Wanderlust gallery in Northampton,UK asking me to be part of a group show. I am honored to have one of my Bali pieces in Wanderlust 333. The show has 33 different international artist and looks to be pretty sickle. You'll also be able to purchase the prints online so those of you like me that aren't anywhere near Northampton,UK can buy the stuff online.

&1 Everyday Shenanigans

Sorry it's been so long sine we posted anything. We both have been super busy at work and working on our zine/show. It's shaping up really nice and we are really excited to show everyone the work.

A little update on the show, we are planning on screen printing 10 pieces from the zine into posters. We are teaming up with Keegan Meegan to print the posters. They are gracious enough to help us out and we couldn't be more excited. The piece above is one of the prints from the show and what looks brown will be a sparkly gold.
