Ronald blows my mind every time I enter his site. Josh and I had the honor of being in the Subtext/DC Shoes show "Kicks" alongside him. He's been messing around with some new styles and has tons of work that is sure to make your wallet itch. Check out Ronald. Happy friday.

So we are both super excited about this artwork we are doing for Andy Frasco's new cd "Growth & Progress". This is the cover and we are working on the other panels. Its turning out insane and we can't wait to show the whole thing, but for now you can rap your minds around this. Thanks

If you're an artist that surfs the interwebulon to find pretty things, there's no doubt that you've seen the work of Tim Biskup. Personally, Tim is one of my biggest inspirations as an artist. He's done way too much to try to sum it up in a fun-sounding-post, so dive in.

You'll notice we've been posting other people's work and some bands that we like as of late. We thought that instead of posting what we're up to at Jolby once a week or so, we would post something everyday; be-it our inspirations, latest listenings, or cool stuff we think that you will enjoy as much as we do.
So, worry not kids. You'll be getting your Jolby fix in between all of these other shenanigans!

Have you ever heard a band and just couldn't stop listening to them? I mean you listen to them for weeks straight and there is something about that gets you in almost a trance? Well, that has recently happen to me with an amazing band from Nashville called Paper Route. Check them out and let me know if you fall into the same trance that I have about these lovely boys from Nashville.

Chris Gray has just finished creating a tee a day for the past 30 days, compiling an awesome collection of oddity, style, and must-haves for the shirt-nuts out there. Select pieces from his project, called The Amazing Shape, should be available for purchase sometime soon (at least that's what I'm reading). We can't wait.

Clarissa V. Zorr and I just finished letter-pressing lots of, hand-treated, posters for the So-Cal Fire Poster Project. All proceeds from the posters go toward benefiting the Red Cross and aiding victims of the So-Cal fires. Here's a small sampling of a few I treated and even got to hand-pull myself. Check out the project's site; There are some seriously amazing pieces by some big names.
Our posters should be joining the project's site soon. More/better pics to come. The amazing people at In To Ink were generous enough to donate all the printing. Go Larry!

This is our first real project under JOLBY it's a package design for Andy Frasco's new cd "Growth & Progress". We had to go kind of out of order and do the cd first and then we are starting on the rest. Should turn out pretty sick. It's crazy snowing in Chicago I almost went blind this morning from ice hitting my eyeballs. (click the image to see it bigger)

I've got a new painting up for sale on my personal site called "Adventure!" It's the start of a series that should birth itself throughout some of the different things we're working on.
