This is a piece I just finished for Ashley Forrette for all of her excellent work on the photos she shot for my portfolio a bajillion years ago (yea I know I lag). Her and her husband, Chris were out in Portland over the weekend and we had a good time. Cheers guys. The piece is a 12"x12" inkjet print.

Yesterday, Anathallo released their latest album titled Canopy Glow. It seems that every album these talented musicians create one-ups their previous efforts which is nothing short of amazing. Canopy Glow is brilliant story-telling through an eclectic mix of sounds and instruments that will truly blow your mind. If we were going to recommend to you something new to do this week, we would recommend spending some time with this album.

So I have been working really hard on finishing my zine so I can start on Jolby's first show. Here is the cover of the zine which is called SISA. Sisa is Balinese for "balance" and is the theme for the zine. It's illustrations(by me) and words(by my wife) about the inspiration of finding balance in Bali.

We are definite fans of Nicholas Felton (Feltron) and when we saw he was allowing the rest of us to organize our daily consumptions and doings online via his inspired look we peed a little. I've been messing around a bit with Daytum and it's proven to be a lot of fun and well put together. They are currently giving out beta invites to those interested.

A great friend of ours, Ashley Forrette is showing some of her beautiful photography work November 7th at The Surface Gallery in Bakersfield, CA. Ashley did a killer job shooting my portfolio a few months back and she has an incredible eye. She's currently slammed with photography work, so book her while you can. More show info here.
Last night was one of the greatest nights of my life. My wife has been a full time intern for Obama's campaign and I got to go to the HQ before the rally and let me say to see the people that have worked so hard for this campaign be rewarded was an amazing sight that will always stick with me. And I go to see Spike Lee which was rad haha. We then went to Grant Park along with 125,000 others to see OBAMA WIN!!!! Amazing night ever more amazing future.
